Canned tuna with some mayo, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, crushed red pepper, Swiss cheese, and a pickle on toasted Multigrain bread . Along with homemade French fries (sliced potatoes deep fried in vegetable oil) and some broccoli. Excellent lunch time meal to enjoy a sunny day!

Kinja'd!!!

With I could stay longer and relax a bit but off to work I go shortly. Anybody have anything good to eat?

Kinja'd!!!

At least going in means an excuse to drive!

I had some left over chicken cordon bleu I made with my girlfriend on Saturday, it was quite good.

Nooooo quality lunch is important! I’ve certainly had just a Dr pepper for lunch before but it’s not pleasant to do that often.

I’ve just been drinking coffee, tea, and water since I woke up.

That tuna sammie plus fries sounds good, I wasn't hungry but I'm feeling it now...

We “ splurged” and got a pizza yesterday for dinner so left overs for me.  Leftover pizza never tast ed so good. It was the first time we ate food we did not cook since early March.

We call those French fries, ‘rustic potato wedges’ (rustic if skin left on).

Looks nice and who does like a tuna mayo toasty, om nom nom.

I never understand why anyone goes through the effort to remove potato skins for any dishes. Baked potatoes, mashed potatoes, French fries - all better with skin!

You can find Ramen at the store?? That sounds more like a lunch at work though since all i have is a microwave anyways. At home I have the luxury to cook anything I want and no requirement to prepare within negative one minute while waking up and going out the door.

I suppose it’s because many associate the skin with dirt, etc... but ye’, baked potatoes, spritzed with oil or brushed with butter and then a little salt is fantastic.

I can find most things at the store actually. I do ramen unless I have leftovers because I need to buy more car parts. Between car parts, booze, and food, food is the one to go cheaper on

This is true. Cheap car parts tend to be more expensive in the long run.

I also just really love ramen noodles

Cheap ramen definitely has its place in this world. One of my favorite backpacking foods due to its weight to makes me happy ratio. And that's when I absolutely need a shitload of salt anyways to replenish what I've lost.
